The most important factor for GME in Edinburgh right now is the feasibility study being undertaken by a company called Premier Business Development.  Their findings will feed directly into the Edinburgh Council Gaelic Language Plan which is currently in draft, but aims to be the strategic document that shapes the future of Gaelic in Edinburgh over the next 10 years.
